Of yourself, things, thoughts, stuff, anything and everything, that is what a human life is spent doing. You move from star dust and an idea to the womb and then the earth. Once here you move through life and then back to the earth and beyond (depending on your chosen belief system).
Once you start breathing air you start moving breath in and out until the end. Eyelids open and close, noises, tears and saliva move at various times and in various directions. You grow and move into puberty, learning and understanding. You're bound to move a ton of boxes, dishes, clothes and really awkward things that you drop and break, probably causing some physical harm to you or someone else. Language then moves from passive to upset and AGGRESSIVE!!!! Then back to normal, laughing, whispering and back up again!
Ideas move and flow, sometimes you bring them to life through dance, song, art, a digital representation or other forms. You move homes, cities, countries and sometimes continents.
We are constantly in motion or close to it, as is our beautiful planet, oceans, trees and mountains. Although we might not see it, everything moves, hence the theory that change is a constant.
Now that you know you live in constant motion, how will you adapt? Our first suggestion is eliminating any unnecessary motion inhibitors. We make stretchy comfortable clothes for a reason, by the way ;) Get the latest collection HERE
Take it in, roll and flow with it. For if it's not what you want it will pass. If it is where you want to be then enjoy it, for it will not last. So again, take it all in. Happy moving beautiful humans...
XO

It was an idea that we could shift human consciousness through art, help people understand that you don't have to destroy to create, and you can have a big impact without having a big footprint.
I never imagined in that short time we would be collaborating and dressing some of the most talented folks on the planet, selling in boutiques from Venice to Tokyo, and helping funkify the world through art at the highest level.
The journey has been more incredible, difficult, rewarding and punishing than one could anticipate, but there in lies the beauty :)
Change is hard, uncomfortable and wonderful by its very nature. Why would I expect shaking up the world of fashion would come without its obstacles and struggles? I didn't...
We will continue to push the limits of creativity and encourage people to find and bee themselves, wear their insides on the outside and challenge all they thought impossible.
There are millions of us that love this planet, are fighting for us all to be treated equally well, protecting our resources and each other with love, prayer and art as our weapons. What a magical home we have here on Earth.
So here's to change. But, it begins within. Look at yourself, your likes and dislikes, judgements and worries, and realize it all begins with you. If you can change yourself, then the world will change with you. At the very least you can change into something comfortable that's been created with love for you, our planet and all it's creatures, to be enjoyed on every level :)
Happy changing beautiful people, now lets go Yöggxing...

For our next act, we bring you collection deüx :)
This time around we are continuing with the dead stock prints and fabrics, but we are also making our own upcycled fabric from recycled plastic bottles. Much in the same way Patagonia does it, we are using Repreve thread that is then knitted together to create a beautiful PFP fabric, which we then print on.
The first design is butterflies, which represent for us the changing of forms from plastic bottles into fashion, funk and love. Soooo stoked to be able to experiment in this form. The material looks and feels amazing.
The second print is dragon the grey. We chose the dragon print because it represents such diametric opposites in the East and West. We side with the East on this one, it's a mythical creature associated with fertility, water and the heavens....also, dragons are just super rad all the way around :)
In addition to the new materials, we have created a couple of new designs. First, all Yöggx will now be available with matching jackets to make full suits like the ones worn by our Chief Ninja, Colin. We've always loved suits, just not in the traditional sense. People kept asking, so we started making.
Next, we have reinvented an old classic with a new, modern, super comfortable twist. You call it an overall and we call it the HeeHaa (pronounced "Hee-Haw"). We take the funk, comfort and style of the original Yöggx cut, and combine it with a blast from the past. It's crazy comfortable, super funky, has interchangeable straps and doesn't look like anything else.
Finally, we have collaborated with one of our favorite French artists who goes by, Mayon Crayon, also the wizard behind the shoe company, Good Guys Don't Wear Leather. She water color painted a rad scene of Venice, CA, with a bunch of cool easter eggs for people that know our home. We printed it onto our recycled fabric and lined the HeeHaa's and denim with it, yeah we did!
Everything should be up and available by the end of October. Thanks for caring what you wear and how you live. We're stoked to be changing the world with you :) #nowyoucan
]]>When I was running the digital world for Miss Universe / NBC, our stylist came to me and gave me a pair of men's stretchy jeans, the latest in men's fashion at the time.
My mind was blown at how comfortable they were and I was delighted that the comfort of track pants had been united with the look and function of jeans. Revolutionary I thought. Alisha quickly commented that stretchy jeans weren't new and had been around in woman's clothing for a number of years. I was furious to learn they'd been hiding this little gem.
Fast forward a few years to wearing tights for the first time. They were super comfortable, but no pockets, too tight and not super functional (my first rule of clothing, it must be comfortable and functional). Nothing existed that provided me with the comfort of tights, functionality of jeans mixed with a creative funky design and style; time to create!
I have sewn pillows, curtains, hemmed jeans, repaired clothes and played with fabric as a novice for a long time. So I thinks to me self, why not try and create something that I want and need in my life.
So, I grabbed some stretchy fabric and started playing with patterns and shapes, pocket styles, details and everything else it takes to create something functional, funky, stylish and that I wanted to wear.
The response from people was overwhelming and everywhere I went people kept asking me about my pants. Finally, one day after 10 beautiful encounters back to back in less than an hour, I decided it was time to listen to the universe and bring Yöggx to the people.
Yöggx are locally made and sourced in LA, fair wages are paid along the entire chain and no unnecessary harm is inflicted upon the planet, animals or people. This project comes from a place of love. My mission is to help shape the process of style to make a huge impact while leaving a small footprint.
Part of every sale will go directly to assisting areas of the planet that are in need, as identified by the Yöggx team. Thank you for joining the revolution and welcome to the tribe. May this journey be as inspiring for you as it has been for us. #nowyoucan
